Can board games build active citizens?
At our latest activity in Nicosia, young people proved that they can.

Through specially designed civic board games, participants explored:
🗳️ How democratic systems work
🤝 The power of dialogue and negotiation
💡 Decision-making under real-life community challenges
🌍 The importance of every individual voice

By stepping into different social roles, debating ideas, and making collective decisions, youth didn’t just talk about participation — they experienced it.

Non-formal learning transforms complex topics like civic engagement into interactive, reflective, and empowering experiences. Learning by playing. Reflecting by doing. Growing by engaging.

Because active citizenship starts with understanding — and understanding grows through experience.
