🎲 BOARD QUEST HACKATHON – Play, Create, Include 🎲

On 27 December 2025, we successfully organized BOARD QUEST HACKATHON at Tablo Cafe in Nicosia, bringing young people together through play, teamwork, and friendly competition. The event created a warm and welcoming space where participants enjoyed free snacks and coffee while connecting through board games in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere. ☕🥨

Participants took part in team-based competitions, forming teams of four players. Some joined with friends, while others came individually and were smoothly integrated into teams on the spot—ensuring everyone felt included and supported 🤗. Through this approach, many new friendships and connections were formed.

During the hackathon, teams played a variety of classic, adventure, and fun board games, carefully chosen to develop strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills 🧠💬🤝. The friendly competition motivated participants to collaborate, think creatively, and enjoy the learning process through non-formal education 🎮✨.

The most successful teams were rewarded with prizes 🏆, celebrating not only results but also fair play, cooperation, and active participation. More importantly, the event strengthened social interaction, inclusion, and community spirit among young people from different backgrounds 🌍.

BOARD QUEST HACKATHON proved that learning through play is powerful, engaging, and meaningful. It was a great example of how non-formal learning can build skills, confidence, and connections in a safe, youth-friendly environment.
