Explore your voice. Express yourself. Connect through creativity!

Bee the Future CY is looking for 2 motivated youth workers from Cyprus to participate in the Erasmus+ Training Course โ€œCREATIVE CIRCLES: VOICES โ€“ Explore Your Voice. Express. Connect.โ€, taking place in Ponoviฤe, Litija, Slovenia, from 26 October to 1 November 2026, including travel dates.

This international training course invites youth workers to explore the creative potential of voice as a tool for self-expression, communication, connection and participation in youth work. Through music, singing, rhythm, improvisation and storytelling, participants will discover how creative methods can be integrated into non-formal education to encourage young people to express themselves, build confidence and connect with others.

You do not need to be a professional singer or musician! The training is open to youth workers who are curious, creative and willing to experiment with new approaches to learning. What matters most is your motivation to participate, share experiences and discover new ways to engage young people.

๐ŸŽค About the Training Course

Voice is one of the most natural ways people express emotions, communicate ideas and connect with others. However, in youth work, creative expression is sometimes limited by the fear of making mistakes, a lack of confidence or the belief that artistic activities require professional skills.

The CREATIVE CIRCLES: VOICES training course aims to challenge these barriers by creating a supportive learning environment where participants can experiment with different forms of expression and discover the educational value of creativity.

Through practical workshops, collaborative exercises and group activities, youth workers will explore how sound, movement, storytelling and improvisation can become accessible tools for working with young people. These methods can help create inclusive spaces in which participants feel encouraged to contribute, listen to others and express their ideas in different ways.

The training will also provide opportunities for intercultural exchange, collaboration and reflection, allowing participants to learn from the experiences and approaches of youth workers from different backgrounds.

๐ŸŽต What Will You Explore?

During the training course, participants will engage with several creative approaches that can be adapted to different youth work settings.

Music and singing: Discover how music and vocal activities can encourage participation, strengthen group connections and create opportunities for collective expression.

Rhythm and sound: Explore rhythm-based exercises that support cooperation, listening, concentration and group synchronisation without requiring musical experience.

Improvisation: Experiment with spontaneous creative activities that encourage flexibility, imagination, confidence and openness to new ideas.

Storytelling: Discover how stories, spoken expression and personal narratives can help people communicate experiences, explore perspectives and build connections.

Voice and self-expression: Reflect on how voice can be used to communicate ideas, express emotions and support participation in a respectful and inclusive environment.

These creative methods can be adapted for youth exchanges, workshops, local youth activities, team-building sessions and other non-formal learning environments.

๐ŸŒฑ Why Should Youth Workers Participate?

Participating in an international training course offers an opportunity to develop professionally while gaining fresh inspiration for everyday youth work.

Through CREATIVE CIRCLES: VOICES, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Discover creative methods that can be used in non-formal education.
  • Develop confidence in facilitating music, rhythm, storytelling and improvisation activities.
  • Explore ways to encourage self-expression and active participation among young people.
  • Exchange experiences and ideas with youth workers from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Strengthen communication, collaboration and intercultural competences.
  • Reflect on how creative activities can support inclusion and group cohesion.
  • Bring new ideas and practical methods back to their local communities in Cyprus.

The experience does not end when the training course finishes. Participants will be encouraged to share their learning with colleagues, introduce suitable methods into their activities and use their new experiences to enrich local youth work.
