Can board games build active citizens?
At our latest activity in Nicosia, young people proved that they can.

Through specially designed civic board games, participants explored:
πŸ—³οΈ How democratic systems work
🀝 The power of dialogue and negotiation
πŸ’‘ Decision-making under real-life community challenges
🌍 The importance of every individual voice

By stepping into different social roles, debating ideas, and making collective decisions, youth didn’t just talk about participation β€” they experienced it.

Non-formal learning transforms complex topics like civic engagement into interactive, reflective, and empowering experiences. Learning by playing. Reflecting by doing. Growing by engaging.

Because active citizenship starts with understanding β€” and understanding grows through experience.
